Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee of a plant. Her birth date was the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was considered academically gifted when she was a kid and started the second grade when she was five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her winning Miss Crawford County. Stone moved together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. In the following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. After that, she moved back to Europe and spent an entire year in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone, however, became unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to continue her career acting as a model while she lived there. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's movie "Stardust Memories" when he was twenty. The film was met with diverse reactions.
